Olivetti offers its OEM customers a new A3 flatbed printer capable of printing on substrates up to 120 mm thick, thanks to a print bar of adjustable height. Its small size, proprietary ink-jet technology and use of innovative inks make this a highly versatile printer recommended for a wide range of applications including printing directly on clothing and decorating food products and other materials such as wood and plastic.
All this is made possible by use of two disposable print heads, one black and one three-colour (CMY), available with different types of ink specially formulated by Olivetti.
- Water-based inks, including:
- Normal – For printing on porous materials such as paper, card and natural wood
- Pigmented – For printing on cotton and synthetic fabrics
- Edible – For printing on food
- Solvent-based for printing on plastics (such as ABS, PVC) and other materials
Cartridges can be replaced quickly, easily and cleanly when empty.
These features make it easy to use this printer in stores and markets for rapid customisation of articles sold.
The operator console with its 2.4” LCD display makes it easy to adjust print bar height and perform other configuration and maintenance tasks.
Two USB ports allow the printer to be connected up to a PC and/or a USB key for direct image printing, displaying a preview on the LCD display.
